Transfer Credits & Transcripts

Legacy Online School gladly accepts transfer credits from other accredited public or

private educational institutions. To initiate this process, students are encouraged to

arrange for an official transcript to be sent directly from their current or prior school to

Legacy Online School at lss@legacyonlineschool.com.

Once an official transcript is received, a counselor at Legacy Online School will

thoroughly assess the transcript and grant transfer credits as deemed suitable. These

transfer credits will be documented on the student's Legacy Online School transcript,

accompanied by a notation indicating the source of the original credit.

During the initial placement process, full-time students at Legacy Online School have

the opportunity to transfer credits from their previous high school experiences. This

includes credits from American public high schools, regionally accredited private

schools in the United States, or accredited international schools or institutions. To

facilitate the acceptance of transfer credits, students must follow the procedure

outlined below:

Submission of Transcripts:

Students are required to submit official transcripts to the Legacy Online School

Registrar's Office via email at lss@legacyonlineschool.com.

If the school is international, students have two options:

Verify their transcripts through Scholaro. Instructions for this process are provided

Please note that it is the student’s responsibility to complete this process carefully.

To ensure that we accurately transfer your credits and meet state requirements,

please fill out this form with the details of the courses you have completed at your

school. This information will help us evaluate and align your credits with the necessary

state requirements for graduation. Attach a PDF file of your official transcript at the

end of the form.

Please provide us with the courses you have already completed and specify the

period of learning for each course. Use the following key to indicate the credit value:

1 year = 1 credit

1 semester = 0.5 credits

1 term = 0.25 credits

1 quarter (trimester) = 0.33 credits

Credit Evaluation:

Upon receipt of the official transcripts, a formal credit evaluation will be conducted by

Legacy Online School.

The results of this evaluation will be communicated to the student.

Completion Requirements:

Regardless of the number of credits transferred to Legacy Online School, at least 25%

of the total coursework must be completed with Legacy Online School to be eligible

for a graduation diploma.

This policy ensures that all students meet the academic standards required for

graduation from Legacy Online School while recognizing and valuing their prior

educational achievements.
