Legacy Online School grants credit to students upon the successful fulfillment of all
obligatory coursework, which entails achieving a final exam score of 60% or greater,
obtaining a minimum of 60% on each writing assignment (equivalent to 12 out of 20
points), and attaining an overall course score of 60% or above. However, for AP
courses, a minimum score of 70% is required to receive credit. In cases where a
student needs extra time to finish a course, they can opt for a one-time extension,
with the cost varying depending on the subject, and this extension extends the course
duration by two months.
- 0.5 semester credits are granted if the course instructional time is between 45-55
hours.
- 1.0 semester credit is granted if the course instructional time is between 90-110
hours.
- Honors courses grant .5 semester credits if course instructional time is 55-100 hours.
- Students must complete at least 25% of their required graduation courses (a
minimum of 6-courses) at Legacy Online School in order to be granted their high
school diploma. Final exams will not unlock before 60 days of class enrollment for
high school-aged students.
