Physical Activity Recommendations
We believe in the significance of regular physical activity for overall well-being. While our
school operates in an online environment, we encourage all students to engage in
regular physical activity outside of their academic schedules. It is recommended that
students aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity on most
days of the week. This can include activities like sports, dance, yoga, or even simple
exercises at home.
Screen Time and Health
Understanding the potential impact of excessive screen time, we strive to strike a healthy
balance between online learning and other activities. Our teachers and staff are mindful
of designing engaging lessons while being conscious of screen time. We encourage
students to take short breaks during long online sessions, follow the 20-20-20 rule
(looking at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds every 20 minutes), and maintaingood posture to reduce strain.
Mental Health Resources
We understand that students may encounter various challenges that can affect their
mental well-being. Legacy Online School provides access to mental health resources and
support. Our dedicated counseling team is available for students who may need
someone to talk to or seek guidance. Additionally, we offer informational resources and
workshops on stress management, mindfulness, and coping strategies to help students
build resilience
