At Legacy Online School, we believe in recognizing and celebrating our students'

achievements, hard work, and dedication. Our Student Awards Program is designed to honor

students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, active participation, and a

commitment to their school and community.

All awards will be presented at the graduation ceremony, and recipients will receive official

certificates that serve as valuable credentials for university applications, scholarship

opportunities, and future career prospects.

Award Categories & Eligibility Criteria

1. Academic Excellence Award

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.8 (or equivalent).
  • Actively participates in at least one school activity or club throughout the school year.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership skills, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
  • Shows a commitment to academic excellence and personal growth.

How to Get Nominated:

  • Teachers, club advisors, and Learning Support Specialists (LSS) nominate students

based on academic records and participation.

  • Students may submit a self-nomination form, detailing their accomplishments,

leadership contributions, and school involvement.

2. Legacy Leadership and Impact Award

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must have participated in the Student Leadership Program (Peer Mentorship or

Teacher Assistant Program).

  • Demonstrates initiative in supporting and guiding peers.
  • Contributes to school projects, events, or club activities in a meaningful way.
  • Exhibits responsibility, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to leadership.

How to Get Nominated:

  • Teachers, LSS, and school administrators nominate students based on their leadership
  • Students may submit a self-nomination form with examples of their leadership

activities and the impact they had on their peers or school community.
