Special Education Groups for Students with IEP

This school year, we are introducing special education groups specifically designed for

students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). These groups will be led by our

certified IEP teachers, who have the expertise to support students based on their unique

special needs and diagnoses.

Program Structure:

Certified IEP Teachers: Our specially trained teachers will lead separate groups for

students with IEPs, ensuring they receive the attention and support they need.

Independent Study: Students will utilize materials available in Buzz and study

independently. However, teachers will guide them through the learning process and

clarify any necessary questions.

Weekly Interaction: Each student will have 6 hours per week of dedicated time with their

teacher. During these sessions, they will discuss each subject and review some topics in

class. Most of the coursework will be completed independently.

Personalized Support: Teachers will focus closely on each student, preparing

accommodations to help them succeed. This includes modifying assignments, providing

additional resources, and offering tailored guidance to meet each student's individual

learning requirements.
